Ball Jam with Marceau
Presented by Qi
Dance Company
We invite you to a reinvented ball that goes back to the
traditional dances in groups and in couples, adapted for 21st Century's
dancers who are used to rocking the dance floor with a more personal
style. With a broad experience ranging from traditional European Dances,
Contemporary Dance, and Qigong practice, Marceau will accompany us through
this journey of discovery.
We will explore the movement of our body and our qi, the interaction
with other people and with the whole group. Based on the Qidance method,
this Ball Jam is an opportunity to dive deep into the flow
of qi, the energy that moves within us and around us, gaining
awareness of the subtle movement within us and the dynamics of the
group.
Suited to anyone who loves dancing. Bring comfortable clothes and
socks.
Date & time:
October 25th, 7-9:00pm (Every 4th Friday of the month)

”The Suited Monk - Finding Your Life’s Purpose And True
Happiness"
|
In today's society, many of us struggle to experience lasting happiness
and contentment and find little purpose or fulfilment in our work and
day-to-day lives. Even if we manage to reach certain goals, the happiness
they bring us rarely lasts long. Because of this dynamic, some of us
suffer deeply and experience a huge gap between the life we really want,
with a deep feeling of joy about who we truly are, and the reality of the
life we actually have.
Raf Adams, author of
"The Suited Monk" (available on amazon.com), will guide us with
a step-by-step approach to help us explore pertinent self-questioning
paradigms, such as "What is my purpose in life?" and "How
can I live a truly fulfilling life and have a happy and satisfying
career?" Or more simply, ''How can I fully align my deepest desires
and wishes, and flourish in today's world?" He will be using the
life journey model to help us through this journey.
