Community Outreach - Center for Spiritual Living, Laguna Woods

What does your Center's community outreach look like?

Here's Center for Spiritual Living, Laguna Woods response:

We have been doing an outreach of giving Payless gift certificates for children's return to school. This year we partnered with them and gave 33 certificates for $22 dollars each. We also give unwrapped gifts to a Shelter for their Christmas "store"  where mothers and children pick out gifts for each other. We are going to call our projects From Our Hearts to their Soles.

What is your community outreach up to these days?

Center for Spiritual Living Westlake Village says:

Our current outreach is in tandem with Lutheran Social Services, and our center feeds the homeless once a month. We also having an ongoing Manna food bank and someone from our center delivers the collected food every two weeks to help fill their shelves. Our tithes, every other month, go out to the community: Food Share, Manna, Casa Pacifica, Lutheran Social Services, the San Fernando Valley Mission Homeless Shelter, and the Mary Magdalene Project, to name a few
